However, in spite of these negatives, the book as a whole provided an adequate ending to a series that has captivated me for years. The death count was surprisingly low and the end was a little cheesy (although I don't know if I can approve of the choices Rowling made in naming Harry and Draco's children), and both of these factors seemed to add to the novel's charm.
Now, I can look forward to returning to my current obsession; Gene Wolfe's Books of the New Sun... his fantastic use of language creates a depth and mystery in his novels that is incomprehensible.
Due to classes and a lack of motivation, I haven't drawn anything in a while...in spite of that failing, I have returned to art and will hopefully be able to produce improved pieces.
